I sat curled in a fetal position calming my mind while my body’s immune system attacked me from the inside out. My skin was peeling like a snake, my legs swelled to double their size and my skin felt like it was going through hypothermia. I was unable to take care of my family, to work, and some days I was incapable of moving from the red leather chair in front of the bed in our master bedroom. My mind raced with thoughts ranging from how to heal myself, to I just want this to be over. This was how I spent fall 2021.
I was on medical leave from work, my husband was taking care of our daughter and working outside the house and COVID was still in full effect.
After about three months of “vacation” time and the allotted time for medical leave with full benefits, I had to go back to work. I was not fully healed nor in the right headspace to return to my corporate job, but alas I had to go back. Our family depends on the income my husband and I generate. As many of you can relate, we often do what we have to in order to keep the wheels of life turning.

Desmond and I set out on a journey to change the course of lives, our children’s lives and the lives of generations to come. We are going to be that ONE (shout out to Ed Mylette’s Power of One More)! We are going to be that ONE in our respective families that would forever alter the course of generations to come. We are going to create generational wealth through the power of real estate and each one of you is helping to make that dream a reality when you stay with us.

Our mission is to provide you with a taste of, what I like to call, Family Luxury. You might be thinking, “what the heck is family luxury?” I’m so glad you asked! It’s finding those small moments, spaces, and experiences that bring joy. Moments where you find a bit of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of life. Amenities that you may not experience in your everyday life.
Desmond and I are in the process of creating this brand so we can, like you, travel the world with our family and stay in places where we get a little taste of the finer things in life. We truly hope you join us on this journey by staying with us, providing direct feedback on how we can improve and giving us your thoughts on what other types of spaces you want to see.
